A group of seasoned musicians this power-trio makes it's home in Portland, ME and has the collective experience of 50 years in the music industry, both on and off the stage. In addition to their years of live performance experience, tripleshot hosts talents behind the sliders, mixing live sound and , of course their favorite is recording and mixing in the studio, be it them selves, or another band, it makes no difference. While they are definitely rock-based in origin, none of them has really come up with a proper definition of their style as it seems to vary quite a bit from song to song. give em a listen and see what you think
Michael O. Libby: Plays Ibanez and Fender guitars, Alvarez classical guitars, Fender mandolins and banjos and Takamine acoustics, Marshall half stack and Fender twin amplifiers, Boss foot pedals, Roland and Fatar keyboards and Shure wireless microphone systems. Mike is a gear head with enough book knowledge to bore a library. His years of experience include living and playing in Japan for six years with "One Big Happy" and a solid decade of engineering experiences from around the world. Mike plays guitars, sings and plays keyboards with his barefoot feet in a style reminiscent (where he got the idea) of Rush's Getty Lee. This aspect of live performance, together with his bandmates multi-instrumental abilities, allow Tripleshot as a three piece band (using full backing harmonies) to create eight different sounds simultaneously- live. This is just one of the factors that prove tripleshot the ultimate power trio.

James Maclean: Plays on a sweet Yamaha double bass kit. He’s also been through about every aspect of the music business with a number of projects, and some of his 25 plus years of experience and credits include Shadow, Cradle II Grave, Boltcutter and Lagotta. He’s done some touring internationally and been involved with a number of CD releases. His vocal work in the backing tracks has always been strong, concise and harmonically interesting. He is an impeccable drummer whose back round in heavy music has brought about a gigantic, hard hitting sound. He plays tighter than a click track. And we like to call him "Jimmy Mack" In his hours away from the band, he builds recording studios and spends time with his fantastically supportive (and ever-growing) family

Greg Burns Jackson : Plays Ibanez bass guitars through Peavey bass amps. Also responsible for a chunk of the lead vocal work and a whiz at coming up with backing harmonies. Greg has been heavily into the music scene for longer than he would care to admit. Cradle to Grave and Campface are just a few of the projects Greg has involved himself with. He also kicks ass behind the faders, with over a decade of experience running pro sound for recording and live projects- and more important than just knowing what those faders control, Greg has been blessed with the ear to listen and adjust those controls to fit the occasion. Greg is the type of guy that plays damn near every instrument and is able to pick up an instrument and play out his ideas immediately. You simply could not ask for a better rounded musician
